My Society

To what purpose stand a society?
 Laws carry no weight
Punishment is situational
Villains triumph over heroes
Brute force is praised in place of
Rationality,
Preaching a truth sweetened with
Forgery
Heroism slain on the battlefield
Loyalty butchered by greed
Given birth to vexed minds satiated
With complacency
Gesturing servitude, but dropped with
Open eyes Burdened by grief at the
Deeds of man,
The clouds spew tears of heavy agony
Baseless would be the battle if challenged
For change
A forgotten king bearing a crown long
Irrelevant
Pawns are bestowed homage,
Ensuing in misplaced leaders,
Led by plagiarized heads,
Brimming with self-induced guidance
Nutured by imploding greed of personalities
Physical bitterness is not a remedy for change
 But rather, Divine retribution.
